Job summary

Sandvik Group seeks an experienced Product Manager to lead BU Automation machine automation. Based in Tampere or Turku, Finland, you will define product requirements and oversee development, coordinating with R&D, sales, and the equipment divisions.

You will drive the product roadmap, manage documentation, and refine pricing strategies while aligning with business objectives and market needs. Travel up to 40% may be required.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering, software or related field.
• At least five years of experience in mining and/or automation/ICT software industry.
• Experience with underground and surface mining applications is advantageous.
• Experience with large-scale software systems for industrial production management.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain product vision and strategy including the product roadmap and ensure alignment with current product offering.
• Define product requirements and oversee product development according to process definitions.
• Ensure alignment with equipment divisions and development roadmaps.
• Maintain all product-related documentation and revise the commercial model as needed.
• Monitor competition and industry trends and produce supporting sales material.
• Collaborate with external customers, project delivery and sales support teams to translate needs into product.
