Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a proactive Product Manager to own the continuous backwash granular media filtration portfolio (DynaSand/SuperSand) and shape growth in water treatment solutions across Europe. You will collaborate with global and regional teams to ensure market-ready offerings and achieve commercial readiness from sales to support.

The role requires strong communication in English, experience with granular filtration, and the ability to travel. Based in Europe, preferably near Sulzer offices.

Qualifications

• Experience with municipal and industrial water or wastewater treatment.
• Proven expertise with granular filtration products.
• Experience in process engineering, project management, and market-driven product development.
• Ability to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology transfer and localize global solutions for regional market requirements.
• Define regional product strategy through market analysis and customer insights.
• Drive commercial launches by coordinating cross-functional teams and go-to-market readiness.
• Enable sales success through training, pricing strategies, technical support, and sales tools.
• Act as the application expert, translating customer feedback into product improvements.

Your Main Tasks And Responsibilities

• Lead technology transfer and localize global solutions for regional market requirements.
• Define regional product strategy through market analysis, customer insights, and business planning.
• Drive commercial launches by coordinating cross-functional teams and go-to-market readiness.
• Enable sales success through training, pricing strategies, technical support, and sales tools.
• Act as the application expert, gathering customer feedback and translating insights into product improvements.

To succeed in this role, you will need

• A self-starter attitude with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of municipal, industrial water and wastewater treatment or similar technical solutions.
• Proven experience and expertise working with granular filtration products.
• Experience process engineering, project management, market-oriented business/product development and international work within a water treatment sector.
• Ideally experience from Global Product Management, alternatively local product portfolio management, global/local business development, sales management or similar.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
