Job summary

Wärtsilä invites a Process Engineer to join our team in Vaasa (Finland) or other negotiated locations. You will shape fuel systems for LNG, Methanol and Ammonia and contribute to the entire lifecycle from design to commissioning at shipyards.

The role emphasizes design of piping & instrumentation, thermodynamic calculations, and developing operational procedures while collaborating with customers, suppliers and authorities in a global setting.

Qualifications

• MSc in Chemical and Process Engineering or Energy Technology.
• Experience with AutoCAD and process simulation tools.
• English proficiency; ability to work in an international team.

Responsibilities

• Follow the product lifecycle from initial design to commissioning at shipyards.
• Design piping & instrument diagrams (P&ID) and specify process equipment.
• Develop thermodynamic and pressure drop calculations; create operating procedures and technical docs.
• Collaborate with customers, classification societies, suppliers and other stakeholders.
