Job summary

Wärtsilä in Finland invites a Process Engineer to drive the design of fuel systems for LNG, Methanol and Ammonia, spanning concept through commissioning on ships.

You will work with P&ID, process equipment sizing, and simulations in AspenTech, MATLAB, and AFT Fathom, collaborating with a multinational engineering team.

Locations include Vaasa, Helsinki, or Turku with negotiable terms and a competitive salary range.

Qualifications

• MSc in Chemical and Process Engineering or Energy Technology.
• Experience with marine/shipbuilding industry is advantageous.
• Experience with AutoCAD and process simulation software.

Responsibilities

• Design piping and instrument diagrams (P&ID) for fuel systems and specify process equipment.
• Develop thermodynamic and pressure drop calculations/simulations and operating procedures.
• Collaborate with international teams, customers, classification societies, suppliers and other stakeholders.
