Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree completed within the last five years.
• Strong experience in data-driven modelling and molecular representations.
• Proficient in Python and reproducible computational workflows; RDKit is a plus.
• Track record of high-quality scientific outputs in relevant fields.
• Fluent English; able to work in international teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop ML methodologies to predict biopolymer properties from molecular representations, physics-based simulations, and experiments.
• Identify promising candidates for wet-lab validation and support experimental design.
• Establish classical baselines for comparison with quantum computing.
• Collaborate with chemists, physicists, genomics and synthetic biology experts across partner organisations.
• Communicate results through publications and project reports.
