As a People Operations & HRIS Specialist, you will:
Provide HR Support Services to employees throughout the employee lifecycle, offering guidance on employment conditions and policies, collective agreements and labor laws and supporting employees on their questions about benefits, time and attendance, payroll topics.
Work closely with HR Compensations & Operations Lead and external payroll vendors on total compensation, payroll and benefits matters.
Develop the HR ticket management tools and processes as well as Knowledge Base with People & Culture team.
Work as an admin user of HRIS HiBob (Core, Time&Attendance, Talent and Compensations modules) taking full advantage out of these tools as well AI capabilities in HiBob, Claude.ai and Co‑pilot. Utilize existing tools and support the execution of HR system updates, integrations, and related projects aimed at enhancing employee data management and operational efficiency.
Ensure regular People & Culture team presence in Tampere office.
Work closely with your core team: Chief People & Culture Officer, HR Compensations and Operations lead and HR & Recruitment Manager, and external payroll vendors.
In the first 6 months, you’re expected to:
Successfully onboard into your role with support from the People & Culture team
Received both positive and constructive feedback from your internal customers about the service experience as well the people processes and policies to drive continuous development on the services
Optimized HR processes and tools to enhance operational efficiency and data quality providing further self‑service capabilities to personnel
Longer term, you’ll be measured by:

Improvements in HR Operations & Payroll efficiency
5+ years experience in HR operations & Payroll responsibilities with exposure to multi‑country payroll processes, preferably from international growth / scale‑up company in IT‑industry
Strong understanding of HR tools and data management
Proven ability to support employees and managers with HR‑related queries successfully
Experience working with cross‑functional teams in an international set up
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Fluent English (written and spoken). Knowledge of Finnish and German is seen as a plus
Work setup: Hybrid, with flexible remote work and regular face‑to‑face meetings in Tampere and Espoo office‑ed
Salary: 4500 - 5200 €/month depending on your skills and experience + up to 10% annual bonus on target level
