Job summary

Faerch Finland is seeking a hands-on HR professional to lead local People & Culture operations and partner with site leadership. You will implement Group policies, ensure compliant HR processes in line with Finnish law, and support managers in daily people activities.

Based at the Hämeenlinna site, you will collaborate with international colleagues and contribute to workforce planning, engagement, and HR reporting for about 200 employees.

Qualifications

• Broad HRBP role combining operational HR with leadership support.
• Solid understanding of Finnish employment law and collective agreements.
• Experience supporting managers in personnel matters and performance issues.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Familiarity with HR processes, systems, reporting and data.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of local HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development and offboarding.
• Provide advice and practical support on employment matters and Finnish legislation.
• Support production supervisors and managers in employee relations and performance management.
• Coordinate occupational healthcare, wellbeing and external service providers.
• Ensure accurate HR data and payroll information in cooperation with colleagues.
• Maintain constructive relationships among employees, management and representatives.
• Act as trusted adviser to Site Director and local leadership.
• Support managers in daily leadership and people management.
• Participate in local leadership discussions with a practical P&C perspective.
• Collaborate across the organisation to improve engagement and ways of working.
• Implement Group-wide P&C policies in line with Finnish requirements and participate in international HR initiatives.
• Support development, engagement surveys, succession planning and HR reporting per Group frameworks.
