Job summary

Metsä Group is seeking a Process Owner for Purchase-to-Pay to join our Accounting Service team in Espoo or Gdansk. You will own and develop the end-to-end P2P process in finance, align with Procurement, and drive process improvements while advising local users.

The role emphasizes standardization, controls, and project-based implementation. The ideal candidate has a strong finance process background, ERP experience (Medius, Basware, SAP) and excellent English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Solid background in finance processes and end-to-end workflows in corporate groups.
• Experience as finance process owner or manager for AP is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Experience with Medius, Basware, SAP preferred.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay process in finance and govern with Procurement.
• Define target state, roadmap, controls, and performance expectations.
• Support process changes and testing; drive improvements and issue resolution.
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on P2P matters.
