Job summary

Metsä Group is seeking a Process Owner, Purchase-to-Pay in Espoo (Finland) or Gdansk. You will own and develop the end-to-end P2P process in finance, aligning with Procurement and Group objectives. Lead system changes for Medius, Basware and SAP, guiding priorities and implementation with project teams.

The role emphasizes process ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement in an international environment. Fluency in English is required; Finnish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong end-to-end understanding of AP and P2P processes and interdependencies.
• Experience as finance process owner or manager for accounts payable or related finance functions is advantageous.
• Proven ability to lead process ownership in system development or transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay process in finance and govern with Procurement.
• Define vision, target state, roadmap, controls and performance expectations.
• Drive process-related system changes, testing and continuous improvement.
• Act as trusted expert and sparring partner for stakeholders across the organization.
