Job summary

The Helsinki City Financial Management Service Department Talpa is seeking a process manager for a permanent role. You will oversee and develop accounting and payment processes, lead current processes, and design new ones to support city-wide projects.

Job description

We are looking for a process manager for a permanent position at the Helsinki City Financial Management Service Department Talpa.

Talpa provides financial and payroll management, e-commerce, and robotics services as a service provider and as a purchaser-provider model service centre.

Its clients include Helsinki city group entities such as the City Office, departments, agencies, and limited companies, as well as city management and staff.

About 450 people work at Talpa, with a turnover of approximately 41 million euros.

The role involves managing and developing accounting and payment processes, leading current processes, designing new processes, and working on city-wide projects.

The ideal candidate has strong accounting skills, process development experience, and understanding of financial systems like SAP S/4 HANA and Aico.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, a positive, customer-oriented attitude, and organizational skills are required.

A relevant higher education degree (e.g., Bachelor of Business Administration or Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration) and proficiency in Finnish are essential.

The salary is 4460.48 euros/month plus possible experience and personal allowances.

The position is permanent with a six-month probation period.
