Job summary

Our Research Operations team at OURA is seeking a Research Coordinator for a fixed-term contract in Oulu, Finland. The role focuses on running in-person data collections, managing equipment, and ensuring ethical, high-quality research to improve our health sensing algorithms.

The position is mostly onsite, with a 10-month tenure from 11/2026 to 08/2027. Ideal candidates have experience with human research studies, strong timemanagement, and good English communication.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating human research studies across disciplines.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.
• Familiarity with research ethics and good clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Run in-person data collections including scheduling, room setup, participant flow and data capture from devices.
• Manage prototypes and research equipment, troubleshoot functionality issues.
• Co-author protocols and SOPs with researchers and data scientists.
• Track study milestones, flag blockers, and keep studies on time.
• Perform manual data quality control and collaborate with engineers on automated checks.
• Ensure compliance with research ethics and internal standards.
