Job summary

atNorth is seeking an IT Support Specialist to deliver responsive onsite IT support for ~100 employees at the FIN02 site in Espoo, Helsinki, working with Nordic IT teams. You will handle onboarding/offboarding, install and maintain laptops and mobile devices, manage assets, and liaise with external vendors to keep the workplace tech experience smooth.

This 12‑month fixed‑term role offers a path to extension or permanent employment and an opportunity to shape a local IT support function across

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in IT Support or similar roles.
• Hands-on onsite IT support in a corporate environment.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 environments.
• Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting laptops, mobile devices and workplace tech.
• Experience using ticketing / ITSM systems.
• Knowledge of Windows environments and common IT infrastructure.
• Fluency in Finnish and English, written and spoken.
• Experience in international organizations or with multiple locations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite first- and second-line IT support to employees.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and workplace tech issues.
• Support onboarding/offboarding activities, including account administration and device prep.
• Install, configure and maintain laptops, mobile devices and workplace equipment.
• Manage IT assets and documentation.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers.
• Collaborate with IT Support, Infrastructure, Cyber Security and IT Operations teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to local support routines.
• Occasional travel between atNorth datacenter locations within the country for on-site IT Support.
• Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and security standards.
