HUS diagnostiikkakeskus is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join the ward clerk team at Meilahti and the New Children’s Hospital. The role focuses on customer service tasks such as appointment bookings and handling phone and Apotti communications, with potential supportive clinical tasks.

Would you be the new nurse assistant in our department of Heart Diagnostics Center Meilahti and the clinical neurophysiology unit at the New Children’s Hospital? The HUS Diagnostics Center is Finland’s leading provider of clinical laboratory and imaging services. Our main activities cover the specialty care of the HUS consortium and primary health care of the welfare regions belonging to HUS. We are also responsible for the laboratory and imaging operations of the welfare regions of Kymenlaakso and South Karelia. We operate in eight medical specialties and are responsible nationally for a number of specialized examinations as well as research and teaching connected to the university hospital. Diagnostic tests play a central role in confirming diseases, excluding possibilities, as part of treatment and follow-up and screening. At the HUS Diagnostics Center about 3400 laboratory and imaging professionals work at more than 150 locations.
Our team in Meilahti and New Children’s Hospital needs a strong added member for the permanent position of ward clerk focused on customer service tasks such as appointment bookings and handling phone and Apotti communications; the role may include supportive tasks in clinical work. In Meilahti and at the New Children’s Hospital we perform a wide range of tests, such as EEG, ENMG, and various polygraphs. We are continuously developing our operations as well as quality work and LEAN approach. You will be part of a skilled multi-disciplinary team with a positive working atmosphere, and we regularly receive positive feedback from students.
The offered salary for the position is 2725.5 €/month plus any experience and other allowances.
