Job summary

Greystone of Lincoln is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead the 3rd shift operations, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time production against schedules and customer requirements.

You will supervise ~20 operators, drive continuous improvement, uphold SPC and quality standards, and work with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams to optimize performance and address issues promptly.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of manufacturing experience in a production environment.
• 2+ years of leadership experience as a Department Lead, Production Team Lead, Shift Supervisor, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and quality standards.
• Experience managing employee performance and driving accountability.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all 3rd shift manufacturing operations to meet daily production schedules and customer requirements.
• Monitor production performance, efficiency, downtime, scrap, and labor utilization.
• Ensure shift goals are achieved while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Provide direction and support to operators to ensure successful operation of equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Escalate and address production issues in a timely manner to minimize disruption.
• Drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the shift.
• Monitor quality metrics and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Hold operators accountable for part quality and adherence to manufacturing standards.
• Partner with Quality and Engineering teams to reduce defects, improve capability, and decrease scrap.
• Lead and support process improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Supervise, coach, and develop approximately 20 production operators.
• Promote a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.
• Conduct employee training, performance discussions, and ongoing coaching.
• Support employee engagement and assist in resolving workplace concerns.
• Identify and develop future leaders within the organization.
• Ensure consistent enforcement of company policies and procedures.
