Job summary

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. seeks a Superintendent, Architectural Outfitting to lead outfitting across guest areas and public spaces on newbuilds. You will work with top architects, designers, and shipyards to ensure quality, sustainability, and brand alignment from design through delivery and handover.

You will manage design intent, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and conduct reviews and inspections to ensure milestones are met while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of cruise ship industry experience with onsite construction and shipbuilding familiarity.
• Proven experience managing large-scale projects on time and within budget.
• Knowledge of SOLAS, IMO, ILO and USPHS regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; architectural/naval architecture background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outfitting of guest interiors, open decks and public spaces to meet design intent and contracts.
• Coordinate with designers and shipyard teams to ensure alignment and progress against milestones.
• Track design, outfitting, and integration of technical items across assigned areas.
• Lead walkthroughs, inspections and design reviews for quality and sustainability.
• Report progress, risks and opportunities to senior management on a regular basis.
