MEP QA/QC Engineer for Data Centre Projects

Job summary

Enersense Engineering is seeking experienced QA/QC Engineers to support MEP works for a data centre project in the Helsinki area of Finland. You will monitor installation activities, develop QA/QC procedures, review subcontractor documentation, and drive corrective actions through to closure.

Role requires MEP QA/QC expertise on large-scale projects, strong communication, and English proficiency. The team focuses on quality dossiers, test records, and seamless handover, within a demanding

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in MEP QA/QC on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP construction practices and regulations.
• Experience preparing QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and test plans.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect MEP installation activities to ensure compliance with project specs, drawings, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement and maintain project-specific QA/QC procedures for MEP works.
• Review and approve quality documentation submitted by subcontractors (ITPs, method statements, testing procedures).
• Perform site inspections, audits and quality surveillance; identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are closed.
• Work with MEP teams, project engineers, designers and subcontractors to resolve quality issues and maintain quality objectives.
• Verify MEP materials, equipment and workmanship meet project requirements and are properly inspected and tested.
• Maintain records of inspections, testing activities, certificates, punch lists, NCRs and other quality docs.
• Assist with commissioning, turnover and handover; ensure QA/QC documentation is complete and compliant.
• Promote a proactive culture of quality, health and safety, and continuous improvement.
