Job summary

Winthrop Engineering Limited is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to join their expanding team in Finland, specifically on a major data centre campus near Helsinki. This role focuses on ensuring that all construction works meet high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with project managers and the quality team, developing and implementing quality control procedures for MEP works. The position also offers career progression and development within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience within the data centre, industrial, or technology sectors is preferred.
• Ability to produce accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect MEP works for compliance.
• Develop and maintain QA/QC procedures.
• Conduct site inspections and audits.
• Support the MEP team in resolving quality issues.
• Manage records of inspections and tests.

Skills

Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer in large-scale construction projects

Strong understanding of MEP construction methods and standards

Experience in developing QA/QC procedures

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail and organisational skills

Education

Relevant Engineering or Construction degree qualification
