Academic Work Finland Oy is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the New Product Introduction team, focusing on mechanical updates, simulations, and production implementation of high-power valve submodules. You will verify designs under thermal, seismic, and electrical stresses to ensure smooth transition from engineering to full-scale production.
The role requires a degree in mechanical engineering, hands-on experience with Ansys Mechanical, and proficiency in Creo and SolidWorks.
In this position, you will work as a consultant through Academic Work, placed at a global industry leader specializing in power grid solutions and energy infrastructure. You will join the New Product Introduction (NPI) team, focusing on the mechanical updates, advanced simulations, and production implementation of high-power valve submodules.
You will play a key role in verifying complex mechanical designs under thermal, seismic, and electrical stresses, ensuring a smooth transition from engineering to full-scale production.
