Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking a Mechanical QA/QC Engineer for mission-critical data centre projects in Finland, based on-site at Espoo and Kirkkonummi. You will own QA/QC for mechanical installations, driving zero-defect construction through ITPs, FATs, NCRs, and rigorous documentation.

You will collaborate with Construction and Project Managers, ensure compliance with project specs and international data centre standards, and contribute to handover dossiers and commissioning records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related construction discipline.
• Proven QA/QC experience on large-scale, complex construction projects, preferably mission-critical.
• Deep knowledge of mechanical systems, pressure testing, welding, HVAC, and commissioning.
• Strong ITP development, QA documentation, and NCR management skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect mechanical installations to ensure compliance.
• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures for mechanical packages.
• Review method statements, ITPs, pressure-testing logs, and docs from subcontractors.
• Conduct on-site quality audits and FAT reviews; issue NCRs and track resolutions.
• Support engineering team with CAPA and corrective actions.
• Verify incoming mechanical plant, valves, piping, and equipment documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date quality dossiers for tracking and handover.
• Contribute to mechanical completion and project handover activities.
