Konecranes invites applications for a Mechanical Engineer in its Shipyard Cranes team, employed through Biisoni. The role blends tendering and project execution, with hybrid work including one Hyvinkää office day per week and around 30–60 days of international travel per year.

You will perform strength analyses, structural calculations and mechanical design for large crane projects, with development toward broader engineering responsibilities in an international environment.

Formación

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred; candidates with relevant practical experience encouraged.
• Experience in strength analysis and steel structures.
• Ability to interpret 2D engineering drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Perform structural analyses, strength calculations and mechanical design during tendering and project execution phases.
• Carry out strength analyses, mass, cross-sectional and machinery calculations, transportation and erection analyses.
• Support design decisions by interpreting standards, specifications and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with designers, project teams and customers to solve engineering challenges and build broader technical responsibilities.
