Wärtsilä Voyage, a high-tech development centre, seeks a Math Modeller to design dynamic mathematical models for vessel equipment and systems. You will also craft the front-end interfaces for simulators and prepare detailed technical documentation for these models.
The role requires a degree in physics, applied math or engineering, plus practical modelling experience and basic PDE/DAE numerics. English at least intermediate and an agile mindset are expected.

The team of Wärtsilä marine engineering simulators is looking forMath Modeller. You can become part of a team which works on a market leader product (45% market share) that imitates marine engineering functionality for vessels. The preferred location for this position is Helsinki, Finland but also Turku, Finland is negotiable. We offer a possibility to hybrid work.
