Job summary

Tana Oy is seeking a Purchaser to manage day-to-day purchasing, ensure timely orders and deliveries, and maintain ERP data accuracy. You will monitor lead times, coordinate with suppliers, and work with internal teams to sustain material availability across operations.

The role requires experience in purchasing and ERP systems, with fluency in Finnish/English, and a willingness to collaborate across functions in Jyväskylä or nearby locations.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree or equivalent practical experience in supply chain/operations.
• Experience in purchasing and ordering to meet production needs.
• Strong understanding of supplier terms, lead times and delivery schedules.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, is required.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day operational purchasing activities.
• Create, maintain and follow up purchase orders based on demand and stock needs.
• Monitor supplier confirmations, delivery schedules and open orders.
• Communicate with suppliers on status, shortages and changes; escalate issues when needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams (operations, production, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth information flow and reliable supply.
