The global Master Data Management team at Kalmar Services is seeking a Master Data Lead. In this role, you will secure the quality of Item and Installed Base data across the organization by taking hands‑on corrective actions and driving cross‑functional development projects.
You will play a key role in defining analytical capabilities that support both our internal data team and wider business functions. By partnering with stakeholders to continuously improve our master data systems and processes, you will make sure that Kalmar’s global service operations are backed by reliable, actionable data.
This is a full‑time position. The preferred location is Tampere, Finland.
Development needs: Identify and drive internal master data development needs.
Business requirements: Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, solutions, or processes within the master data management scope.
Data flow: Ensure the accurate and consistent flow of master data between core systems, including PDM and ERP, cloud platforms, and analytics dashboards to enable practical, data‑driven business insights.
Cross‑functional collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, digital, and business functions to drive continuous improvement and align development initiatives with broader organizational needs.
Data quality: Monitor data quality KPIs, proactively identify issues, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
Analytics and business value: Define and translate data analytics into practical business value, acting as a communication bridge between technical development and business stakeholders.
Data integrity: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of master data related to Capture Rate and Spare Parts potential.
Policy compliance: Ensure Kalmar’s master data policies are followed in new developments and initiatives.
Team and operational support: Contribute to a proactive, collaborative, and hands‑on team culture while handling daily operational master data support tickets alongside project work.
