Job summary

Echo Engineering Oy seeks a seasoned Project Manager with maritime delivery experience to strengthen the Helsinki team. This role covers planning, scheduling, risk management, resources and finance for complex systems, including hardware, software and electrical components.

You will collaborate with technical engineers to ensure timely delivery, while adapting to a hybrid setup with some remote work after ramp-up. The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree and speaks fluent English.

Qualifications

• Requires an engineering degree (M.Sc./B.Sc.).
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Fluent in MS Project.
• More than 5 years of PM experience in system deliveries including hardware, software and electrical components.
• Understanding data interfaces to other systems (data logger, data transfer, UI, KPIs).
• Knowledge of shipbuilding processes and ship operations.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions.
• Strong networking and collaboration skills with a results orientation.
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery planning, scheduling and monitoring of maritime projects.
• Manage project resources, risks, finances and changes.
• Coordinate communications and reporting to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with system engineers, commissioning engineers and suppliers.
