Job summary

Elomatic is seeking a Marine AI Lead to own AI initiatives within the Marine Business Unit. You will translate business and engineering needs into practical AI solutions, drive a strong AI pipeline, and guide technology choices to improve ship design and engineering productivity.

The role blends strategic ownership with hands-on development and may evolve into leading a broader Marine AI function. Location can be Turku or Espoo, with hybrid working flexibility.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Strong knowledge of AI, ML, and AIOps.
Hands-on experience delivering AI solutions.
Maritime/shipbuilding/engineering background is a plus.
Translate business needs into technical solutions.
Understanding of software development, architecture, data flows.
Own projects with strong collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

Identify high-value AI opportunities and prioritize them.
Translate business needs into practical AI development initiatives.
Lead projects from concept to implementation.
Develop Marine AI roadmap and initiative pipeline.
Collaborate with marine engineers, Group AI, and partners.
Evaluate emerging AI technologies and guide choices.
