Job summary

SpinDrive Oy in Lappeenranta, Finland, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to join its R&D team. You will support the development and production of Active Magnetic Bearing (AMB) components by combining practical assembly work with manufacturing development, workstation setup, documentation, and supplier coordination.

A key part of the role is to help establish SpinDrive’s own practical test assembly and winding capabilities, define the workspace, source tools, equipment, and materials, and work

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in industrial manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, electrical or mechanical production.
• Experience with electrical motors, coils, wires, electrical components, or similar equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and manufacturing documentation.
• Good communication skills and full working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Test, manufacture, and improve precision coil winding solutions for AMB components.
• Support prototype production and assembly activities.
• Develop fixtures, tooling, and work instructions; interpret technical documentation.
• Establish workspace, tooling, equipment, materials, and workflows.
• Collaborate with suppliers and SpinDrive international subcontractors for volume manufacturing.
