Job summary

SpinDrive Oy in Lappeenranta is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support development and production of Active Magnetic Bearing components. You will combine hands-on assembly with manufacturing development, workspace setup, documentation, and supplier coordination.

You will own day-to-day assembly test activities, build fixtures and tooling, and support engineers during prototype builds. Travel to supplier locations in Europe is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of practical experience in industrial manufacturing or similar hands-on roles.
• Experience with electrical motors, coils, wires or similar equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics and manufacturing docs.
• Experience sourcing local Finnish suppliers and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Test, manufacture, and improve coil winding solutions for AMB components while supporting prototype production.
• Develop fixtures, tooling, work instructions and assembly methods; ensure manufacturability.
• Organize workspaces, tooling, equipment and materials; establish quality, testing and traceability practices.
• Collaborate with suppliers and SpinDrive engineers; support volume manufacturing discussions.
