Job summary

Mehiläinen seeks a Controller, M&A Integrations in Helsinki to drive the financial side of acquisitions and integrations. You will perform due diligence, value allocations, and assist in reporting, working closely with the Director of Treasury and M&A Integrations and a broader international team.

The role requires accounting expertise, strong Excel skills, and comfort with evolving AI and automation tools within a fast-growing healthcare group.

Qualifications

• A few years of work experience in finance or accounting.
• Relevant higher education degree.
• Familiarity with financial systems and Excel skills.
• Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards (IFRS 3) is an advantage.
• Fluent Finnish and English; Swedish is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Participate in financial due diligence reviews of acquisition targets.
• Review opening balance sheets and prepare purchase price allocations (PPA).
• Assess items affecting purchase price, including net working capital and net debt.
• Coordinate with external accounting firms and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to the group's consolidated financial statements and reporting.
• Support automation and AI-enabled processes in integration and reporting.
