Job Description Summary

GE Healthcare Finland Oy is looking for a Localization Specialist to join our Global Design Engineering team in Helsinki. In this role, you will coordinate localization activities for medical device software, user documentation, and other product-related content supporting global product development programs. You will work closely with engineering teams, technical publications teams, product stakeholders, and external language service providers to help ensure timely delivery of localized content for worldwide markets. The role requires fluency in English and Finnish, as well as proficiency in at least one additional language: a European language or Simplified/Traditional Chinese. This language expertise will be applied to translation and localization activities, terminology management, linguistic quality assessment, and collaboration with global stakeholders. The role combines localization project coordination, language asset management, quality oversight, and continuous improvement. You will help evaluate and implement language technologies, AI-powered tools, and automation solutions that enhance quality, efficiency, and scalability across localization workflows. You will play a key role in maintaining high-quality multilingual content, supporting global product releases, and driving improvements in localization processes and technologies.
