Job summary

Cyient Limited in Vaasa, Finland, seeks an Operations & Controlling Lead to establish integrated operational and financial performance across Life Cycle Management deliveries and projects. The role focuses on scaling Service Plan delivery into a high-volume, item-based operation.

You will connect demand, released scope, backlog, work in progress, throughput, capacity, hours, productivity, revenue and margin into a single management view, driving timely decisions and improved profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, business, industrial engineering, information systems or a related field.
• Extensive experience in project controlling, financial planning and analysis.
• Experience in revenue forecasting, cost control and variance analysis.
• Ability to translate fragmented data into actionable management information.
• Strong KPI definition, reporting processes, data ownership, and dashboards.
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Power BI and SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate demand, backlog, capacity, delivery and financial plans.
• Develop and maintain management dashboards and reporting routines.
• Provide visibility into scope, backlog ageing, WIP, throughput and workload.
• Consolidate revenue forecasts and support percentage-of-completion with Finance.
• Connect operational data with progress, hours and financial reporting.
• Monitor hours, costs, productivity, learning curves and margin.
• Provide cost-to-complete, forecast-at-completion and variance analysis.
• Maintain forecasts for completion, capacity and resource gaps.
• Define KPI calculations, data ownership and update cycles.
• Prepare management performance reviews and drive actions.
• Support plan scale-up scenarios using shared capacity.
• Identify reporting automation opportunities with Finance, IT and data teams.
