Job summary
Veikkaus Oy is seeking a Lead Product Owner, Core Services to shape and grow our digital channel core services across Web, iOS and Android apps. Reporting to the Head of Product, BiC Digital Channels, you will lead Core Services, align with Digital Channels’ goals, and drive regulatory-aligned product priorities.
You will build and coach a team of Product Owners for App Core Services, Web Core Services and Design System, prioritizing work, guiding roadmaps and ensuring measurable improvements in
Qualifications
- 5+ years in product ownership, management or business analysis in digital/multi-platform products.
- Proven ability to lead Product Owners and provide clear direction with autonomy.
- Strong skills in strategy, backlog management, and cross-functional coordination.
- Experience with web and mobile products and digital customer journeys.
- Experience with regulatory/compliance in a highly regulated industry.
- Understanding of agile delivery and customer journey optimization.
- Ability to collaborate across business, product, UX, tech and data functions.
- Experience in the iGaming industry is a strong advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Responsibilities
- Lead Core Services product area (App/Web Core Services, Design System) in line with Digital Channels strategy.
- Coach and support Product Owners for App Core Services, Web Core Services and Design System.
- Own the Core Services roadmap, goals and epics; prioritize effectively.
- Own Regulatory and Compliance product areas; translate requirements into priorities.
- Manage backlogs and balance short-term delivery with long-term strategy.
- Plan and coordinate launches across Core Services with cross-functional inputs.
- Define and prioritize Core Services requirements for app and web capabilities.
- Translate complex business and regulatory needs into actionable epics and initiatives.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, Tech, Data, Marketing and stakeholders for delivery outcomes.
- Monitor KPIs to drive improvements in Core Services and customer experience.
- Contribute to long-term planning for Veikkaus’ digital channels.
- Represent Core Services in strategic forums and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
- Work with business, UX and technical teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
