Job summary

Sievo Oy seeks a Lead Software Engineer for the Frontend Platform team to build a production-ready frontend ecosystem from the ground up, focused on AI-assisted development and deterministic designs. You’ll scale an early-stage architecture into a robust production environment and lead the Frontend Center of Excellence.

You will drive token-driven design Systems, strict architectural guardrails, and high-fidelity context for AI agents across multiple product engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience guiding frontend communities across product and engineering teams.
• Proven ability to scale a shared frontend platform across multiple teams and manage dependencies.
• Preference for self-service, decoupled developer tools and isolated preview environments.
• Experience designing reusable UI primitives with strict contracts and design-token driven architectures.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript and modern frontend tooling for fast local development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Center of Excellence for frontend AI-enabled development and set cross-functional standards.
• Harden and productionize the early-stage frontend architecture with scalable monorepo and CI/CD
• Co-create a token-driven, automated design system from scratch for AI-first workflows.
• Enable product teams with self-service infrastructure and isolated local development workspaces.
• Engineer the LLM context layer with structured markdown rules and TypeScript type safety.
