Job summary

Winthrop Technologies Ltd. is seeking an experienced Electrical Package Manager to join our team on a large-scale data centre project in Espoo and Kirkkonummi, Finland.

The successful candidate will manage the full lifecycle of the electrical package, from design coordination and procurement through to installation, testing, and commissioning. You will oversee subcontractors and site teams, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and work closely with clients and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering.
• Proven experience in project management, preferably within large-scale projects such as data centres.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Electrical Systems package from design coordination to installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Oversee site safety in conjunction with the Project Manager and Safety Advisor, including setup, management, and close-out of the safety file as part of the management team.
• Promote and maintain a strong Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) culture within your team.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager, consulting engineers, and the client to manage the project schedule and ensure timely delivery.
• Manage all costs associated with the electrical package, including Winthrop Electrical Team, Subcontractors, Material deliveries and goods receipting, Plant and equipment. Variations and valuations.
• Attend site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning and coordination meetings, and handover meetings.
• Issue weekly cost reports, including all orders placed, materials expected, and labour levels.
• Issue internal weekly progress reports summarising supervisors' updates, highlighting percentage complete based on WBS codes, risks under Winthrop's control, and any concerns.
• Schedule material deliveries to align with the project programme and track all deliveries.
• Maintain a weekly project photographic diary.
