Vincit is seeking a Databricks Engineer to work across a diverse portfolio of customers in Jyväskylä, Finland. You will design and implement data pipelines and lakehouse architectures using PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake, collaborating with customers to shape solutions and lead development efforts.

You will engage in advisory and hands-on delivery, contribute to platform quality, and help drive projects with a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on Databricks or data platform experience.
• Strong PySpark and SQL experience.
• Experience with Delta Lake and lakehouse architectures.
• Experience with Databricks Asset Bundles, CI/CD, and Git.
• Customer-first, self-driven attitude.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Finnish and English.

Responsibilities

• Building data pipelines – ETL/ELT with PySpark/SQL moving data from sources into Databricks.
• Building lakehouse architectures with Delta Lake for scalable analytics.
• Monitoring and optimizing pipelines for performance and reliability.
• Managing platform and code quality with Asset Bundles, CI/CD, and Git.
• Supporting development teams and business users to keep data flowing smoothly.
• Driving projects proactively and steering development with customers.
