Job summary

Vincit is seeking a Databricks Engineer to design and implement data platforms across a diverse customer portfolio in Finland. You will drive data pipelines from source to lakehouse, tailoring solutions with customers and leading development efforts where needed.

You will collaborate with business users and engineers to ensure reliable analytics, strong governance, and scalable architectures. Finnish and English fluency are required for client interactions.

Qualifications

• Several years of Databricks Engineer or Data Platform experience.
• Strong experience with PySpark and SQL.
• Experience with Delta Lake and lakehouse architectures.
• Experience with Databricks Asset Bundles, CI/CD, and Git.
• A customer-first, self-driven attitude.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Fluent Finnish and English.

Responsibilities

• Building data pipelines – designing and developing ETL/ELT with PySpark and SQL.
• Building lakehouse architectures – Delta Lake and lakehouse solutions.
• Monitoring and optimizing pipelines – improving performance and reliability.
• Managing platform and code quality – using Asset Bundles, CI/CD, and Git.
• Supporting development teams and business users – collaboration with engineers and stakeholders.
• Driving projects proactively – taking lead when needs are unclear.
