Job summary

Vincit is seeking a Databricks Engineer to join our Finland-based team in Kuopio. You’ll build data platforms and pipelines across diverse customer projects, using PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, and lakehouse architectures.

You’ll work both advisory and hands-on delivery, shaping solutions with customers and guiding development proactively. You’ll collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders, own the technical direction, and help drive scalable analytics at scale while advocating for robust

Qualifications

• Hands-on Databricks/Data Platform experience with strong PySpark and SQL skills.
• Experience with Delta Lake and lakehouse architectures.
• Familiarity with Databricks Asset Bundles, CI/CD, and Git.
• Customer-focused, self-driven, and able to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Fluent Finnish and English, with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Build data pipelines with PySpark and SQL moving data into Databricks.
• Design lakehouse architectures and Delta Lake solutions for scalable analytics.
• Monitor and optimize pipelines and improve platform reliability.
