Job summary

Veikkaus Oy is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to lead our Data as a Service team within the TECH organization. You will own data ingestion, transformation, and delivery for analytics, driving architecture and best practices across the data platform.

The role combines hands-on data work with leadership to grow the team and its capabilities. The ideal candidate will have senior/lead experience in data engineering, strong SQL and ETL/ELT skills, and a passion for scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data engineering or related roles at senior/lead level.
• Strong leadership and ability to guide other data engineers.
• Deep understanding of data architectures and the vision to implement changes.
