Job summary

Vaisala, a global leader in measurement instruments, seeks a Lead AI Developer to join the AI Transformation team at Vaisala headquarters in Vantaa, Finland. You will shape AI across the company, delivering agentic solutions with governance and security.

You will collaborate with data scientists, AI developers, architects and information security to turn AI ideas into production-ready deployments. You will drive technical standards, evaluate new AI models, and ensure responsible AI practices

Qualifications

• Strong background in AI, machine learning and software development.
• Experience building production-ready AI solutions with LLMs or AI agents.
• Strong programming skills, Python seen as an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and deploying well-engineered, reliable AI solutions and workflows.
• Make decisions and execute implementation of use-cases across business domains.
• Integrating AI solutions into existing systems and platforms, with security and scalability in mind.
• Defining and implementing the technical standards and architecture patterns for AI agents and orchestrations.
• Running applied research work and prototyping against real Vaisala data/use-cases.
