Job summary

ALTEN Finland is seeking two Layout Engineers to support demanding power system projects related to STATCOM and substation solutions. You will work with multidisciplinary teams on layout design, 3D modelling, and installation documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

You'll develop layouts and 3D models in Revit and SolidWorks, produce assembly and installation drawings, and coordinate interfaces, clearances, and foundations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on layout engineering experience for industrial, energy, or substation projects.
• Experience using Revit and SolidWorks for 3D modelling and drawings.
• BIM coordination and multidisciplinary model integration knowledge.
• Strong communication and ability to work in international project environments.

Your responsibilities

• Support BIM integration and design reviews
• Collaborate with suppliers, project teams, and site personnel throughout project execution

To succeed in this role, you have

• Strong hands-on experience with Revit and SolidWorks
• Experience in layout engineering for industrial, energy, or substation projects
• Knowledge of 3D modelling, assembly drawings, and installation documentation
• Understanding of equipment arrangement, interfaces, clearances, and foundation design inputs
• Good understanding of BIM coordination and multidisciplinary model integration
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an international project environment
