Call Your Mother Deli in Old Town is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to help build delicious bagels and sandwiches, prep ingredients, and keep stations running smoothly in a fast-paced kitchen.

No bagel experience is required; candidates with at least 1 year of dishwashing or knife handling with a strong work ethic will thrive. This role features hourly pay with generous tips and a strong benefits package for eligible team members.

YOU DON’T NEED BAGEL EXPERIENCE.

Variety is the spice of life and we hire folks with a crazy wide range of backgrounds! You’ll do well if you have at least 1 year experience washing dishes, wielding a knife (extra safely), following recipes and crushing it in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The right attitude and a strong baseline > a polished resume.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical demands for this position include seeing, hearing, speaking, reading, and communicating effectively; standing, walking, reaching, bending, and performing repetitive physical movements; lifting up to 50 pounds; and safely operating equipment and tools using manual dexterity. This role also requires working in a fast-paced environment around hot equipment, sharp tools, and varying temperatures, and occasionally working in confined spaces.
