Job summary

Crown is seeking a motivated Junior Site Manager for a major hyperscale data centre project in Vaasa, Finland. The role is site-based with a 3-week rotation and long weekends at home; flights and accommodation are provided.

You will support day-to-day site operations, coordinate resources, review RAMS and assist in progress reporting while working closely with the Project Manager and site teams to deliver on time and to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Construction-related qualification in Construction Management, Construction Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience as an Assistant Site Manager, Site Supervisor or Junior Site Manager within the construction industry.
• Experience in roofing, cladding, façade or building envelope projects is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Full, current driving licence.
• Willingness to work on a rotational basis in Vaasa, Finland.

Responsibilities

• Support the day‑to‑day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
• Assist in coordinating labour resources and subcontractors to meet programme requirements.
• Support the procurement and delivery of materials in line with project schedules.
• Coordinate plant and equipment to ensure efficient site operations.
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and contract requirements.
• Assist with site quality assurance procedures, inspections and snagging.
• Support the preparation and review of RAMS.
• Monitor site progress and assist in preparing weekly progress reports.
• Attend site coordination meetings with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate site records, including diaries, meeting minutes and photographic records.
• Work closely with the Project Manager and Site Manager to achieve programme and commercial objectives.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, subcontractors and site teams.
• Promote and maintain Crown's safety‑first culture and professional standards at all times.
