Job summary

Crown Roofing Ltd is seeking a Junior Site Manager for a site-based rotational role in Vaasa, Finland. This full-time, permanent position accompanies a 3-week rotation with a long weekend at home, with flights and accommodation provided where applicable.

You will support day-to-day site operations, coordinate labour and subcontractors, ensure safety and quality, and work with the Project Manager to meet programme and commercial objectives while maintaining Crown's safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Construction-related qualification in Construction Management, Construction Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience as Assistant Site Manager / Site Supervisor / Junior Site Manager.
• Experience in roofing, cladding, façade or building envelope projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Full, current driving licence.
• Willingness to work on a rotational basis in Vaasa, Finland.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
• Assist in coordinating labour resources and subcontractors to meet programme requirements.
• Support the procurement and delivery of materials in line with project schedules.
• Coordinate plant and equipment to ensure efficient site operations.
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and contract requirements.
• Assist with site quality assurance procedures, inspections and snagging.
• Support the preparation and review of RAMS.
• Monitor site progress and assist in preparing weekly progress reports.
• Attend site coordination meetings with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate site records, including diaries, meeting minutes and photographic records.
• Work closely with the Project Manager and Site Manager to achieve programme and commercial objectives.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, subcontractors and site teams.
• Promote and maintain Crown's safety-first culture and professional standards at all times.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Junior Site Manager to join our team on a major hyperscale data centre project in Vaasa, Finland. This is a site-based rotational role, operating on a 3-week rotation with a long weekend at home. Flights and accommodation are provided.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Construction-related qualification in Construction Management, Construction Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager, Site Supervisor or Junior Site Manager within the construction industry.
• Experience within roofing, cladding, façade or building envelope projects is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Full, current driving licence.
• Willingness to work on a rotational basis in Vaasa, Finland.
