Job summary

Crown is seeking a motivated Junior Foreman to join our site team on projects across Finland. You will work under Site Managers to supervise roofing, cladding and façade installations, gaining hands-on leadership experience on a rotating schedule.

Ideal candidates will have relevant construction exposure, strong organisational and communication skills, a good grasp of drawings, and a willingness to travel across Finland. Flights and accommodation are provided for this rotational role.

Qualifications

• Previous construction experience in roofing, cladding, façades, or the building envelope sector.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Willingness to work on a rotational basis across Finland.
• Good health and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

Working alongside experienced Site Managers and Foremen, you will gain hands‑on experience leading site activities while developing your supervisory and leadership skills within a specialist building envelope contractor.

The Role

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will assist in the day‑to‑day supervision of roofing, cladding and façade installation works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

You will work closely with site teams, subcontractors and project management while developing the skills required to progress into a Foreman role.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the day‑to‑day supervision of site activities.
• Support the planning and coordination of labour resources.
• Monitor site progress and report updates to the Site Manager.
• Ensure works are carried out safely and in accordance with company Health & Safety procedures.
• Promote a positive safety culture across the site.
• Assist with site inductions and ensure operatives are compliant with site requirements.
• Coordinate deliveries and ensure materials are available when required.
• Carry out quality inspections and report any defects or issues.
• Help maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries and delivery documentation.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to support efficient project delivery.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and company standards.
• Support the Site Manager with programme delivery and daily site coordination.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as required.

About You

We're looking for someone who is motivated, organised and eager to develop a long‑term career in site management.

Essential

• Previous experience within construction, ideally roofing, cladding, façades or the building envelope sector.
• Experience leading small teams or supervising operatives on site would be advantageous.
• Good understanding of construction Health & Safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Full driving licence.
• Willingness to work on a rotational basis across projects in Finland.

Desirable

• Trade background within roofing, cladding or façades.
• Experience working on commercial, industrial or data centre projects.
• Safe Pass, Working at Height or equivalent site safety training.
• Microsoft Project knowledge.
