Job summary

Lappset Group Oy, based in Rovaniemi, Finland, invites you to join our R&D team as a Product Engineer for Playground & Sports Equipment. In this permanent role, you will contribute to the entire product development lifecycle from concept and mechanical design to prototyping, testing and eventual manufacturing.

You will split time between engineering and project coordination, with a balance that may shift with experience.

Qualifications

• At least three years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering or product development.
• Experience in 3D mechanical design; SolidWorks preferred.
• Ability to plan, organize and drive technical projects with production and prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing playground and outdoor sports equipment from concepts to finished products.
• Taking ownership of product development projects, including planning, scheduling and progress monitoring.
• Creating 3D models, assemblies and technical manufacturing drawings.
• Collaborating with concept designers, product management, production and prototyping teams.
• Participating in prototype development, product testing and pilot installations.
• Ensuring products meet technical requirements, safety standards and manufacturing needs.
