Job summary

Vimpro Oy in Finland is seeking an experienced construction supervisor to lead on demanding industrial investment projects. You will oversee site activities from planning through completion, ensuring quality, safety and adherence to schedules and budgets.

The role requires strong communication with clients, contractors and authorities, the ability to make independent decisions under pressure, and willingness to travel to project sites in Northern Ostrobothnia, Kajaani and beyond.

Qualifications

• Several years of solid, diverse experience supervising construction tasks in industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations and safety legislation.
• Fluency in Finnish and English; Swedish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction work quality, schedule and cost to ensure progress.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental standards and building codes.
• Coordinate among client, contractors, authorities and stakeholders to facilitate communication.
• Regular reporting on project progress, deviations and risk management.
• Participate in site meetings, quality inspections and acceptance of implementation documentation.
