Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Commercial Manager to oversee hyperscale data centre projects across Europe from pre-contract through final account. You will manage procurement, budgets, CAPEX models, forecasts, and financial reporting to ensure value delivery and governance compliance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in forecasting, cash flow management, cost control and profitability across major complex construction projects/portfolios.
• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven track record of delivering profitable projects and optimizing commercial performance.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management of hyperscale data centre construction projects across Europe, ensuring delivery within budgets and timelines.
• Drive cost efficiency and value creation while maintaining financial discipline and governance.
• Manage detailed project budgets and CAPEX models with accurate data and scenario analysis.
• Prepare and deliver cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow analyses with transparency.
• Conduct budget benchmarking and cost modelling, reviewing outcomes with senior management.
• Provide commentary and recommendations to inform executive decision-making on cost performance.
• Oversee change management, contract administration, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with Development, Design, Finance, and Operations to align commercial objectives with schedule and operations.
