Job summary

Finnplay is seeking a Release Manager to join our Espoo team. You will work with clients and internal teams to manage the release of Finnplay’s platform to various environments, ensuring timely delivery in a fast-paced iGaming setting.

The role requires a proactive problem-solver with strong CI/CD, Linux, Git, and Docker/Kubernetes experience, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. We offer a hybrid work model with office presence twice weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science required.
• 2+ years of experience in release management or similar roles such as DevOps.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD processes.
• Experience with web-based systems architecture.
• Proficient with Git version control.
• Familiarity with Linux environments.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in release planning and execution.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA and Development teams to ensure smooth releases.
• Configure systems across environments.
• Perform preliminary testing and validate releases.
• Track issues with teams and clients and drive remediation.
• Support compliance team for auditing activities.
