Job summary

Finnplay is seeking a Release Manager to join our Espoo team. You will work with clients and internal teams to manage the release of Finnplay’s platform to various environments, ensuring timely delivery in a fast-paced iGaming setting.

The role requires a proactive problem-solver with strong CI/CD, Linux, Git, and Docker/Kubernetes experience, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. We offer a hybrid work model with office presence twice weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science required.
• 2+ years of experience in release management or similar roles such as DevOps.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD processes.
• Experience with web-based systems architecture.
• Proficient with Git version control.
• Familiarity with Linux environments.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in release planning and execution.

Now we are looking for a Release Manager to join our team in Espoo, Finland. In this role, you will collaborate with our clients and internal teams to manage the release of Finnplay’s platform to different environments. This role requires a proactive approach to problem solving, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced environment and be dedicated to ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of software products and services. We work in a hybrid model and hope you can join us at the office twice a week. Salary for this role will be 4000-4500€/month gross.

YOUR JOB IN A NUTSHELL:

• Participate in release planning

• Execute the release plan

• Collaborate with DevOps, QA and Development teams

• Configure the system in different environments

• Perform preliminary testing

• Track the found issues with different teams and clients

• Support compliance team for auditing

IN ORDER TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, THESE ARE SOME OF THE MUST-HAVES:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science

• 2+ years of experience in release management position or similar roles like Developer or DevOps Engineer

• Good understanding of CI/CD

• Good understanding and experience with web based systems

• Good understanding of version control system (Git)

• Familiar with Linux

• Familiar with Docker or Kubernetes

• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
