Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) in Tampere is seeking a Mixed Signal IP Design Analysis and CAD Engineer to gain hands-on experience across LVS, LVS, DRC/ERC, and AI-assisted verification throughout the pre-silicon lifecycle.

You will collaborate with external design partners and internal teams, leverage industry EMS tools, and build reusable automation scripts in Python and C/C++. This role offers hybrid work and exposure to cutting-edge semiconductor design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Experience with analog/mixed-signal design concepts and EDA tools.
• Ability to develop well-structured scripts in Python, TCL, or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Understand the hardware chip development lifecycle from spec to silicon manufacturing.
• Analyze AMS designs and support integration into chip system.
• Develop scripts to automate IP design analysis workflows.
• Collaborate with 3rd party IP vendors and AMD sites worldwide.
• Use physical verification tools to analyze components before silicon manufacture.
