Job summary

AFRY's Industry division in Finland is seeking a Cost Estimator/Engineer to join the Project Controls team. You will lead cost estimation, compile estimates for different project phases, and prepare the basis for estimates, aligning with project management for cost control.

You will set up budgets, track costs, forecast remaining expenditures, and report deviations to budget. The role offers a hybrid work model with location in Vantaa or other AFRY Finland offices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Process, Industry).
• Min. 2-5 years of experience in cost estimation and/or cost control in industrial investment projects.
• Fluency in Finnish and English.
• Willingness to travel and relocate.

Responsibilities

• Setting up the project budget and cost control procedures.
• Tracking actual project costs.
• Forecasting remaining costs.
• Communicating the status of project costs and reporting deviations to budget.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support cost estimation and control development.
